Lights Camera Audition ("Platform" / "Website") is owned and operated by Auriga Enterprises LLP, a limited liability partnership established under the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008, with its registered office at UDB Corporate Tower, Unit No A-2, 8th Floor, JLN Marg, Durgapura, Jaipur-302018, Rajasthan. ("we"/ "us" / "our").
This payment and refund policy (“Policy”) forms an integral part of the Platform and is to be read in conjunction with the Platform’s Privacy Policy available at https://lightscameraaudition.com/pages/privacy-policy, Platform’s Cancellation Policy available at https://lightscameraaudition.com/pages/cancellation-policy, Platform's Terms of Use, available at https://lightscameraaudition.com/pages/terms-and-conditions, Platform’s Audition Policy available at https://lightscameraaudition.com/pages/audition-policy, Platform’s Registration Policy available at https://lightscameraaudition.com/pages/registration-policy, Workshop Policy at https://lightscameraaudition.com/pages/workshop-policy, as well as any other terms and conditions we may prescribe from time to time, collectively referred to as the "Terms". These Terms are considered incorporated into this Policy and are deemed to be an essential component thereof. Your use of the Platform and/or Services, as well as any Personal Data you provide, is subject to the terms outlined in both this Policy and the Terms.
Capitalized terms used herein and not separately defined, including but not limited to “Services” / “Company” / “Website” / “Platform” / “Lights Camera Audition” or any correlative terms shall have the meaning ascribed to such terms in the Terms.
PAYMENT TERMS
You are required to pay a registration fee to apply for auditions and workshops listed on our Platform. This fee is applicable per audition or workshop registration and must be paid in full at the time of submission. Fee payable for creating an account on our Platform shall be communicated to you from time to time and as per the policies of the Platform. The Platform’s decision in respect of the fee for account registration / generation and for fee pertaining to any other services offered by the Platform shall be final and binding in this regard.
Your access to the Platform and provision of the Services to you may be chargeable at a certain fee as communicated to you and may require payment, in advance. By making a purchase, you agree to provide accurate billing information.
We organize facilitate workshops for skill development. Enrolment is subject to availability, and fees, if applicable, must be paid in advance.
We reserve the right to charge a fee in any manner we deem fit, for your use / access to the Platform after duly notifying you in advance in this regard.
You agree that you shall be liable to pay all applicable charges, fees, duties, taxes, levies and assessments, if any, in respect of your use of the Platform. We have the right to charge fees and all the taxes as per applicable laws on the use of Services of the Platform. We further reserve the right to alter such fees from time to time, without prior notice to you.
We shall not, in any situation whatsoever, provide a refund for their Services. We shall also have the right to refuse or cancel the Services or any part thereof at our sole discretion. Please note that the payment of the registration fee does not guarantee any rights or claims, it merely serves to validate Contestant’s submission. The registration fee once paid, under no circumstances, will be refunded as it is an administrative fee and required for processing the applications of the Contestants. The registration on the Platform or any payment of any fees including inter alia the registration fee does not guarantee that the Contestant will be shortlisted, the Contestant agrees and acknowledges that the registration fee will not be refunded to the Contestant in any case.
NO REFUND POLICY
All payments made for any services offered by the Platform including inter alia any auditions and workshops registrations / availments are non-refundable. Once a payment has been processed, no refunds, chargebacks, or credits or offsets, or adjustments, will be issued, regardless of circumstances, including but not limited to candidate withdrawal, disqualification, failure to attend the audition or workshop, or dissatisfaction with the services provided.
NO GUARANTEE OF OUTCOME
Our Platform serves solely as a facilitation platform connecting candidates with auditions and workshops opportunities. We do not influence or control the selection process, decisions, outcomes, or content of any auditions or workshops. Registering for an audition or workshop through our Platform does not guarantee selection, callback, engagement, or any specific skill development.
PAYMENT PROCESSING
We use third-party payment gateway and are not responsible for their performance or security.All payments are processed through our payment gateway. The Platform is not responsible for any payment-related issues, delays, or failures. The payment and any related services offered by the payment gateway and availment of their platform by you, is subject to the payment gateway’s terms, conditions and policies with no liability on our part and no involvement of ours. Your access to the payment gateway deems to mean your acceptance of the payment gateway’s policies and terms and waiver of your right to claim any damages, costs, expenses and the like from us due to any issues and adversities arising from your use of the payment gateway. The terms and conditions of the payment gateway partner shall apply to all transactions, and we hold no liability for any disputes, errors, or losses arising from payment processing. Any issues related to payment processing should be directed to the respective payment gateway.
DISCLAIMERS
The Platform acts solely as an intermediary and does not provide or control the audition or workshop content, outcomes, or quality.
We do not assume liability for any claims, damages, losses, or disputes arising from participation in auditions or workshops facilitated through our Platform.
By using our services, you agree to indemnify and hold the Platform, its owners, affiliates, and employees harmless from any legal claims related to transactions, participation, or outcomes.
NON-LIABILITY DISCLAIMER
Our Platform functions solely as an intermediary for submitting audition materials to producers and casting agents and facilitating the auditions, workshops, casting, and selection process. We do not review, evaluate, or make decisions regarding selection for auditions or roles, nor do we verify any information provided by you or other stakeholders involved in a media project. The Platform makes no representation or warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any auditions or workshops or project details, including casting calls, project requirements, or timelines. You acknowledge that the Platform is not responsible for verifying the authenticity of such details.
Any portfolio, profile, or materials shared by you are at your own risk. We are not liable for any misuse, loss, or unauthorized distribution of materials uploaded or shared through the Platform. We do not engage in any contractual relationships between you and producers or third parties, and we are not responsible for any misuse, loss, or delay of audition materials or workshop materials and requirements once submitted.
We are not responsible for the accuracy, security, or use of your data once submitted to producers or third parties. By using our Platform, you release us from any liability related to your audition materials, data, Information or interactions with third parties, including any claims, disputes, or damages arising from the submission, processing, or use of such materials or data.
AMENDMENT
This Policy may be updated periodically. We reserve the right to modify the terms of this Policy and any payment terms or payment / non-payment applicability to this Platform and account, auditions and workshops registration at our sole discretion to reflect changes in technology, ensure compliance with applicable laws, or for any other reason (“Updated Terms”). The Updated Terms will take effect immediately upon being posted and will replace the existing terms of this Policy. We are not obligated to inform you of any changes unless the updates significantly affect your rights or are otherwise required by law. It is your responsibility to review this Policy periodically for any updates. By continuing to use the Platform after the Updated Terms have been posted, you signify your acceptance of the revised / Updated Terms. We recommend you periodically check this Policy on the Platform for any modifications to stay informed of the updates in our payment and refund related terms.
GOVERNING LAWS AND JURISDICTION
This Policy shall be governed and construed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of laws principles and in case of any dispute that arises between you and us in whole or in any part of the Service, then the competent courts in Jaipur shall have exclusive jurisdiction in this regard.
