This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms governing the cancellation of user accounts, audition registrations, workshop enrollments, and casting commitments on the Platform known as ‘Lights Camera Audition’ ("Platform" / "Website") owned and operated by Auriga Enterprises LLP, a limited liability partnership established under the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008, with its registered office at UDB Corporate Tower, Unit No A-2, 8th Floor, JLN Marg, Durgapura, Jaipur-302018, Rajasthan._ ("we"/ "us" / "our"). By utilizing the Platform, you expressly acknowledge and agree to the provisions set forth herein. The Platform functions exclusively as a facilitator and makes no representations, warranties, or guarantees regarding selection, casting, or workshop outcomes. All payments made to the Platform are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances. The Platform exercises no authority or control over the services rendered by third parties, including audition and workshop organizers, and solely facilitates the process.
This cancellation policy (“Policy”) forms an integral part of the Platform and is to be read in conjunction with the Platform’s Privacy Policy available at https://lightscameraaudition.com/pages/privacy-policy, Platform’s Audition Policy available at https://lightscameraaudition.com/pages/audition-policy, Platform's Terms of Use, available at https://lightscameraaudition.com/pagesterms-and-conditions, Platform’s Payment and Refund Policy available at https://lightscameraaudition.com/pages/refund-policy, Platform’s Registration Policy available at https://lightscameraaudition.com/pages/registration-policy, Workshop Policy at https://lightscameraaudition.com/pages/workshop-policy, as well as any other terms and conditions we may prescribe from time to time, collectively referred to as the "Terms". These Terms are considered incorporated into this Policy and are deemed to be an essential component thereof. Your use of the Platform and/or Services, as well as any Information you provide, is subject to the terms outlined in both this Policy and the Terms.
Capitalized terms used herein and not separately defined, including but not limited to “Services” / “Company” / “Website” / “Platform” / “Lights Camera Audition” or any correlative terms shall have the meaning ascribed to such terms in the Terms.
ACCOUNT CANCELLATION
You may initiate the cancellation of your Platform account at any time by submitting a formal written request to [hi@lightscmeraaudition.com/8306344450].
Upon cancellation, you will no longer have access to your Platform account or associated data and will not be able to log-in again.
Account cancellation does not entitle you to any reimbursement of fees remitted for account generation / registration, auditions, workshops, or other services availed through the Platform.
Upon account cancellation, the Platform reserves the right to retain user data in accordance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
The Platform reserves the absolute right to suspend or terminate or deactivate or cancel accounts found in violation of the Terms, without prior notice or any liability for refund of any amounts whatsoever.
CANCELLATION OF AUDITION & WORKSHOP REGISTRATIONS
Once an account is registered, audition or workshop registration is successfully completed and payment is processed, cancellations and refund requests shall not be entertained.
If you fail to attend any audition or workshop for any reason, you shall not be eligible for refunds or rescheduling.
The Platform shall not be held liable for any cancellations, modifications, or rescheduling decisions made by the audition or workshop organizers.
WITHDRAWAL FROM CASTING AFTER SELECTION
If you voluntarily withdraw from a project after selection, you forfeit any claims against the Platform.
The casting team or project stakeholders reserve the right to take appropriate actions against you for such cancellation, including but not limited to blacklisting from future auditions and reporting you to relevant industry databases. However, the same has no bearing on the Platform and the Platform shall not have any decision-making power in respect of the same, that being solely the project stakeholders’ prerogative.
Any disputes arising from your withdrawal shall be resolved exclusively between you and the project stakeholders, with the Platform assuming no liability or involvement in such matters.
The Platform shall bear no responsibility for any modifications to casting decisions, and no refunds shall be granted in such circumstances.
GENERAL DISCLAIMER
You are strictly prohibited from publishing defamatory, misleading, or false statements regarding the Platform, its services, or any associated projects on social media or public forums.
Any breach of clause above may invite legal repercussions under the Information Technology Act, 2000, Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2024, and Defamation Laws of India and any other applicable laws.
You shall refrain from disseminating audition materials, casting calls, or workshop content on social media without explicit prior authorization from the Platform and project stakeholders. Any unauthorized disclosure may result in legal action.
The Platform operates solely as an intermediary and does not assure or warrant selection, casting, employment, or workshop results.
The Platform shall not be held liable for any losses, grievances, or damages—whether direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential—arising from cancellations, modifications, or casting determinations.
You expressly acknowledge and agree to these terms upon registering for the Platform accounts, any auditions, workshops, or any other services offered by the Platform.
The Platform exercises no influence or control over third-party organizers, casting teams, or stakeholders and disclaims responsibility for their decisions or actions.
To the fullest extent permissible under applicable laws, the Platform disclaims all liability in relation to any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of its services.
AMENDMENT
This Policy may be updated periodically. We reserve the right to modify the terms of this Policy and any terms related to Platform account, auditions and workshops registration at our sole discretion to reflect changes in technology, ensure compliance with applicable laws, or for any other reason (“Updated Terms”). The Updated Terms will take effect immediately upon being posted and will replace the existing terms of this Policy. We are not obligated to inform you of any changes unless the updates significantly affect your rights or are otherwise required by law. It is your responsibility to review this Policy periodically for any updates. By continuing to use the Platform after the Updated Terms have been posted, you signify your acceptance of the revised / Updated Terms. We recommend you periodically check this Policy on the Platform for any modifications to stay informed of the updates in our cancellation terms.
GOVERNING LAWS AND JURISDICTION
This Policy shall be governed and construed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of laws principles and in case of any dispute that arises between you and us in whole or in any part of the Service, then the competent courts in Jaipur shall have exclusive jurisdiction in this regard.
